广播里放着令人舒心的音乐，空调里吹出暖洋洋的风，不禁给这寒冷的天气增加了几分暖意。批发市场的顾客更多，如果你在批发市场门口站一会儿，你会看到许多电瓶车、自行车、汽车停着，占满了所有车位，从批发市场出来的顾客个个提着或扛着一大箱的货物，脸上带着过年独有的喜悦。大人们忙着购置年货，我们小孩也吵着买东西。第一件大事是买新衣，吵着父母带着去服装店，还要买名牌的羽绒服、裤子、鞋子，好在新年那天显示出万象更新。第二件是买爆竹，恐怕第三件大事才是买各种玩具。除夕到了，大人们更忙。一大早开始，要贴对联、擦玻璃扫地，忙活了一个上午和中午。下午二三点就开始做年夜饭了，电视机也打开了，我们早想看看了。

家家都在做除夕晚上的年夜饭。我们小孩子可喜欢过除夕了，可以吃到色、香、味俱全的年夜饭，可以在吃好饭后玩放烟花，可以看一夜的精彩的春节联欢晚会。最重要的是----向长辈说几句祝福，可以得到一个红包，那是装有几百元压岁钱的红包，我们小孩子最希望得到的就是它。除夕夜是要守岁的，家家都是灯火通明，一直到第二天零点。正月初一却不如除夕热闹，也许是忙了几天，累了吧，充满了温暖和休闲。此后几天，人们要走亲访友，向亲朋好友拜拜年，又恢复了原来的热闹。正月十五元宵节，春节的又一个高潮到了。每家门口挂起了灯笼，插上了旗帜，开始闹元宵、猜灯谜等活动，敲锣打鼓的。我们小孩子也跟着乱跑乱跳，弥漫着一种令人兴奋的气氛。

就这样，春节就在元宵节晚上人们的欢声笑语中过去了。过了正月十六，我们又该上学了，大人又该上班了，年就算过完了。家乡的春节虽然不长，但分外热闹。
